Because of the different color and leather selections, some products are made at the time they are ordered. So, some color options may have to be ordered, this will add time to your order. Orders are processed based on the leather available and when they come in.
From time to time, products are put in the shop as a one-of-a-kind. These items were made from one-off or limited-run leather from the supplier. If you see an item(s) you like but not the coloring, you can place a request for a custom order. If you don’t see what you want, ask, there is a chance we can make it.
Time frame: Some items may take a few days to a week to make, Longer if we have to order leather.
Custom work: Please E-Mail for any custom work. Chances are we have work that is not on the website or knows where to get a pattern.
Holiday/Birthday Orders: When ordering items for any holiday or birthday, please order 2-3 weeks before the event. Any order for Christmas must be placed before Nov, 15th. After that date, I am unable to guarantee on-time delivery. During that time, suppliers’ processing time increased as well.
Please consider the following holiday/birthday orders
We may have to order the leather. Some suppliers have a 1-week processing. closer to Christmas time it goes up to 7-9 day processing time.
The leather/color may not be in stock. Some leather might be discontinued or was an on-off item. The leather takes dye differently and may not look like the color required. This cannot be helped.
The item(s) picked may take some time to make, Everything is made by hand, so this adds time to the order.
Shipping time varies depending on the region or closer to a holiday.
Custom Work:
All custom works require a 25% nonrefundable down payment at the time of ordering. This DOES go towards the price of the item.
Leather:
Leather, like people, is unique, it is this uniqueness that makes every item special. Blemishes such as marks, bits, discoloration, or any other imperfections may be a part of your item. These blemishes are nothing to scoff at, they make your article unique and one of a kind.
One-off / Limited run / Discontinued
From time to time, supplies have one-off or limited runs of leather. This is leather that they may not get again. There are times when they or the manufacturer flat-out discontinue a style, leather, or coloring. You will be contacted if any leather is discontinued.
Coloring:
Some pre-dyed leathers have different pigments of coloring.
This means what looks like red on the site may look slightly different in person. This is because leather takes dyes differently.
If your leather is custom-dyed ved-tan, the consistency may be off. This is because leather takes the dye differently.
Return Policy:
Items can be returned for exchange or store credit only. Some items were made to your choice of color or leather, which sometimes makes resales more difficult, if not impossible. Items can be returned up to 14 days after delivery.
Repair Work:
Any items sold by Old Drum Leather Works have a lifetime guarantee. Should anything below happen to the item(s) we will repair it for *free. **Should the item be beyond repair we will offer a replacement of the same item only.

Repair/replace rivets
Repairing edges.
* You are responsible for shipping the item to us. We will cover shipping it back to you.
** If the leather/color is not available a close replica will be made is a similar coloring and leather style.
